Five awesome days in Berlin. The food, the people, the arts, and the amazing recycling program. Plus an an infrastructure dedicated to bicycles! Herzlichen dank Berlin for the wonderful time, if I were to pick a city to move to it will be Berlin. I can imagine myself working, living, and contributing to the society here.
I <3 Berlin. Everything form the simplest things has been a joy such as clear taste of tap water, delicate delight of coffee, and the food–yum! Cost of socializing is affordable. We’ve been going out, eating out, and drinking out for three days thus far spent about 120 Euros for two people.
Just as I walked out of the Mount Royale metro station in Montreal, I was instantly drawn to an addictive rhythm accompanied by an impressive guitar rift. They are the CheeseCake Ninja. The drum set was made from big cans and a high hat, but had the rhythm to call down the thunder. And the guitarist was flying all around the area like a grasshopper butterfly! Next time I’m in Montreal, I want to find them and hear them play again.
