Jim has been my friend since the first day of RISD–though we couldn’t stand each other for the first semester. Rather being pushed by our differences, we were pulled together by our commonality. While in college we went through plethora of uglies and more uglies, but always came out laughing. That was 17 years ago. Finally he met the lady of his dream Emilia. As cliche as it sounds, she does complete him. It’s so refreshing to see your BFF smile and just be purely happy. Congratulation you two!
Enjoying the city life with good friends to a food truck rally at Baltimore Museum of Industry, Little Havana, and to Metropolitan. What an awesome night filled social lubricants and great food–I love the city living.
There was a folder on my desktop called “IR” that’s been sitting my desktop for few month. It was one of those project I wanted to get to once I have some time. However, that is a wishful thinking I noticed. There are always projects flowing in there no such thing as a “awww finally I’m done!” time. So in the mist of all the work I decided to finally bite the bullet and slowly work towards cleaning my desktop.
Last week I had a photo project that spans from Baltimore, Philly, New York, to Boston. Not only did I get to go on an assignment but had a silky opportunity to visit some of the people who matter the most to me. Some I haven’t seen in six years and others as much as ten. We shared plethora of ups, downs, sideways, highs and lows–almost like the Wonkavator–while attending RISD (Rhode Island School of Design).
