When I lived in Page, Arizona there was this one spot I loved going after work. The locals called in Beer Can Hill or . There I would go for long walks in solitude, ponder about many things, wrap myself in its silence, and keep on walking–sometimes at hours at end. Also, when I had to make a call that spot had the best cell reception. I called this rock my communication rock, allowed me to connect to the external world as well as my internal. This is an oldie, but a goodie. Last night I was cleaning and organizing my Lightroom and found this from March of 2013. It is my first photography session with Majer Metal Works. They were installing a steel reception desk at RE/MAX Sails in Baltimore. I tagged along with them to capture the installation process and the final product. It’s always awesome when a client rehires you to capture a special moment in their family history. This time the Deckers wanted me to capture the wedding rehearsal for Daniel and Mallory which took place on Valentines Day. Any job is fun when the people are nice and welcoming. The best part about these type of projects is being surrounded by smiles, hugs, and laughters–and I get to capture those moments like a boy catching fireflies. Thank you and congratulations!read more
