Majer Metal Works fabricated a steel stair, using 30 custom perforated 1/8″ thick powder coated steel panels for the guard rail system. The stair was installed at one of MICA’s (Maryland Institute College of Art) ever growing campus in Baltimore, Maryland. Ziger/Snead Architects design the stair.
Sometimes a cancelation is a direction to an unexpected surprise. This morning a photo shoot got cancelled and I decided to clean a bit. During the process I found a SM card tumbling in my old bag. When I downloaded the content, it was some of my photos from Berlin–it brought a sadden smile to my face.
This is the last part of their Majer’s Moments Series–capturing everyday moments of living and working in Baltimore city. We had a quick outing at the American Visionary Art Museum. The weather was a bit cold, but the sun compensated for it.
Majer Metal Works fabricated powder coated white steel bar tops for Park Cafe & Coffee Bar. They also did the bar face with reclaimed oak and the lighting fixtures made with steel and leather. All were designed by SM+P Architects.
Winter night is the perfect time for an ice cream. 🙂 As part their Moment Series we set out to eat ice cream at their local ice cream parlor called The Charmery. It was a cold and brittle evening, but an ice cream was the perfect solution to fire up the hearth.
